Mr. Donoghue has over 25 years of experience in the development of several telecommunications companies and served in an executive capacity in the hands-on management, sales and marketing including dark fiber, wireless, cabling and network services of these companies. His achievements include co-founding National Fiber Network, and leading its team to obtain a franchise agreement with the City of New York to install a Dark Fiber Network. NFN was sold to Metromedia International and is now known as Abovenet Communications.
In 1992, Mr. Donoghue formed DarkNet Inc. and was responsible for the timely network build out of our country’s first three pioneer preference licenses for personal communications services and in this capacity has deployed over 1500 wireless sites and thousands of miles of dark fiber to commercial, health care, pharmaceutical, financial, educational, municipalities, police, fire, and enterprise customers.
Mr. Donoghue has installed private video conferencing networks for the following companies: M&M Mars, CIGNA Insurance, Chase Manhattan Bank, The Capital Center, Applied Data Research.
He is or has been a member of the Cellular Telecommunications Industry (CTIA), Personal Communications Services Industry Association (PCIA), International Teleconferencing Association, Building Industry Consulting Services Association, International Communications Association, and Wall Street Tellecommunications Association. Mr. Donoghue is a graduate of SUNY at Old Westbury (B.S. Business Administration) and Nassau Community College (A.A.S. Criminal Justice). He served as an executive director of Philemon, a prison ministry program.
Mr. O’Donnell has over 37 years of diversified financial and accounting experience. He has held positions in public accounting, manufacturing, transportation and professional service organizations. Mr. O’Donnell has extensive hands on experience in all areas of controllership, treasury, taxation, system implementation, Securities and Exchange reporting, banking, initial public offerings and international operations. In addition, he has been responsible for establishing and implementing internal accounting controls to conform to the established SOX reporting requirements.
Mr. O’Donnell has held the position of Chief Financial Officer for a transportation company, Chief Financial Officer and Controller for a major limousine manufacturer and Controller for a manufacturer of orthotic and prosthetic devices. He was also Director of Financial Reporting for Loral Space & Communications Inc, a major satellite manufacturer. In addition, Mr. O’Donnell conducted business consulting services with major fortune 500 companies for over six years with PSE&G a major utility company being his major client during that period. He was responsible for overseeing the management and establishment of all the accounting and financial controls of several start-up companies, as well as, the implementation of several software applications. Further, he was responsible for developing budgets and forecasts, cash flow management, preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and corporate tax returns. Mr. O’Donnell was also responsible for the filing of all necessary quarterly and annual SEC filings, as well, as other required government reporting filings.
Mr. O’Donnell is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and received his accounting degree from St. John’s University.
Denny Steinmeyer was a Senior Design Engineer with Digital Teleport Inc. where he supervised implementation of a HFC fiber network. Mr. Steinmeyer has been responsible for the design of shelters, cabling, DC power plants, fiber distribution shelves, HVAC, standby generators, surge protection, and grounding systems for over 25 years.
As Senior Field Engineer with MCI, Denny was responsible for the implementation, testing communication links throughout the US. Supervised and participated in all site construction, grounding, cabling, alignment, testing, documentation, and acceptance testing. City Engineer for MCI Local Services Nationwide Denny was responsible for the startup of Fiber Ring local access in 14 major cities. He supervised and participated in construction, system integration, test and turn-up of (HUBs) included DC plants with fiber transports for customer interconnects. He interfaced with functional groups and customers while engineering traffic requirements in city rings and long haul interconnects. As a Senior Field Engineer for MCI Transmission system Division Denny supervised and participated in system integration and testing of OC-48, OC-12, OC-3 fiber optic transports. Performed RF engineering and field implementation of building standard “A” earth station for overseas traffic. He supported Intelsat testing of all IDR, IBS, FDM/FM, SCPC carriers.
As a System Project Engineer for MCI Transmission Division Nationwide Mr. Steinmeyer designed, procured and implemented MCI microwave long haul systems. Mr. Steinmeyer is a graduate of Missouri Western State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology. Member IEEE- Eagle Scout
Jeffrey H. Segal was responsible for the development of sales and marketing through strategic planning, site acquisition, and site development of 1500 wireless cell sites representing $750 million in wireless leases from the major wireless carriers including AT&T Wireless, Omnipoint Communications, Sprint, Nextel and American Personal Communications. Mr. Segal has built sales organizations through six offices and a staff of 30 leasing site acquisition specialists. He also developed master lease programs with telecommunication providers, Government and commercial clients including a joint venture with CB Commercial to co-market their one million properties under management.
Mr. Segal is the founder and president of Lighthouse Mortgage Corp. He brokered in excess of $550 million in real estate loans, commercial and residential. He developed programs to expedite loan process from initial borrower contact through appraisal, underwriting and closing ensuring quick turnaround time. He has developed sales and marketing plans which included the launching of a successful advertising campaign with local sports franchises, radio and print media to generate further name recognition and new business. He has expanded business into several new states including VA, MD, FL, GA and CT. Mr. Segal is a graduate of the University of Colorado-Boulder with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing/Real Estate. He completed post graduate courses at Dowling University. Mr. Segal is or has been a Member of the CTIA (Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association), National Tower Association, BOMA (Building Owners Management Association), SOMA (Site Owners Management Association) NAMB (National Association of Mortgage Brokers), NYAMB (New York Association of Mortgage Brokers)
Kenneth Barrett has over 20 years of On-Site Project Management professional experience. Mr. Barrett has served as Director of OSP Engineering Operations for TELECOM Engineering, Inc. He was responsible for all aspects of OSP operations including engineering, permitting, customer relations, and construction management. Numerous clients included Netifice, Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Wisconsin Army National Guard, and Sigma Networks. Before his time at Telecom, Mr. Barrett worked as a Senior Project Engineer for Michael Baker JR, Inc. He managed construction, route design, engineering, and permitting for an AT&T upgrade from Minneapolis to St. Cloud, Minnesota. Mr. Barrett has also worked as an OSP Engineer for Continental Field Services. Before his time here he was a General Foreman at Henkels & McCoy for 15 years.
Mr. Barret was a Special Forces Medic Assigned to the U.S. Army 5th Group and Cross Trained with the U.S. Navy as a Micro Wave, Wireless and Telecommunication Navy Dive School and Marine Engineer.
