National Fiber Networks has obtained a writ to become the first commercial provider of dark fiber in the country of Mexico

NFN completed a feasibility study for an international tower company in the city of Monterrey.
The study sought to bring dark fiber directly to their towers to provide superior mobile backhaul solutions for upcoming 3G and 4G technologies.

NFN obtained the necessary permits to begin construction of the Monterrey ring.

NFN began preliminary designs on its dark fiber optic metropolitan rings in the cities of Puebla, Guadalajara, and Mexico City
